If you are someone that loves looking good at all times and you consider the structure of the body as the embodiment of art which creates a jaw-dropping moment, then, it wouldn’t be surprising if you’ve already invested in your body or if you have it as part of your agenda to have that perfect appearance you crave.

The desire to have the perfect body is quite difficult to achieve because, at times, the spirit might be willing to hit the gym and watch food consumption or go for surgery but the body keeps saying ‘NO’. I cannot say enough about this shape wear. I have been buying Spanx brand for years and although it always delivered on function, comfortable it was NOT. I bought these with a healthy dose of skepticism, believing it was likely going to be a disappointment and all a bunch of hype. I could not have been more wrong. It is buttery soft, outrageously comfortable AND it does what it says — smooths, flattens, lifts — all in the right spots. I am a believer — Kim Kardashian has delivered a product that is impeccable and affordable…hype or not, it is shape wear perfection.

Spanx by Sara Blakely is another popular shapewear that hasn’t relent on its glory. It has expanded its list of category by adding; leggings, swimwear and maternity. The business of looking good isn’t easy, and if you get it right, you can be sure to rake in money just like Sara who was estimated to be worth $1 Billion in 2019, and also a guest judge on ‘Shark Tank’.

According to the story on the website of SPANX, not having the right undergarment for a party to create the perfect look under white pants led to the birth of a revolutionary idea in 1998, but the year 2000 marked the beginning of great things for SPANX. The company headquarter is in Atlanta, GA and apart from online presence, it also has retail shops across the United States and in more than 50 countries around the world.

SPANX is one of the most recognisable brands in the industry and as such, we’re not going to be surprised if it’s one of the most patronised brands by celebrities. The brand provides its products in different colours and sizes just like SKIMS.

After discussing with my team, I concluded that choosing a brand out of the two isn’t going to be an easy task, it’s probably best to mix and match based on your preference because they both have remarkable products.
